Jack's Mannequin

Lady Danville

Steel Train

Jack's Mannequin

The Clyde Iron
Duluth, MN
06.26.2011

It was really neat to see Jack's Mannequin in such a small venue and it wasn't even full. Lady Danville opened the show and only hearing such a short set I can tell that they're going to be huge. A few songs in they covered MGMT's "Kids" and the crowd loved it. If you like the band fun. then you will definitely enjoy Lady Danville. Steel Train always put on a great show with a ton of enthusiasm and it is always great to see them live. Jack's Mannequin's set was nothing short of amazing. Andrew played a few new songs off of their upcoming album and it made me crave the arrival of their new album even more! It was all three of the bands first time playing in Duluth and I hope to see them here again soon!

Panic! At The Disco

fun.

Panic! At The Disco

06.11.2011
First Avenue
Minneapolis, MN

This tour was absolutely amazing. Once fun. stepped onstage my entire day began to turn around. Then Panic! made it even better. Maybe it was because I was standing in the pit in front of about 1500 screaming fans, or that the lighting was amazing : ), or that Brendon Urie can sway his hips so well, or that my tenth grade self was freaking out the entire time. Anyways, the line up was solid and you are bound to have an excellent time at this show.

The Rocket Summer Bryce Avery, His Instruments and Your Voices Tour

He Is We

The Rocket Summer

10.30.10
The Triple Rock Social Club
Minneapolis, MN

Saturday night was He Is We's second time playing in Minnesota. It was really neat they had the show playing live on the UStream. They played a few songs off of their new record, which is supposed to be released by the end of the year. Bryce, The Rocket Summer, played a sing-a-long show. It was awesome. He had a few songs written out that he had set up to play and after that he took suggestions from the audience for which songs he should play next. In two songs he had it set up so he had the drums, keyboards, bass, and guitar all playing at the same time. Bryce is an insanely talented individual! Also, during two different songs he went brought the mic and his guitar into the audience and played. It was quite the show! On the tour Bryce brought a nonprofit organization called HelloSomebody along with him. It is an organization that helps feed the hungry. It's a really neat organization and they sell some sweet watches. Check HelloSomebody out!

Motion City Soundtrack & Say Anything Tour
October 28, 2010
First Avenue
Minneapolis, Minnesota

Thursday night Minneapolis's own Motion City Soundtrack rocked out at First Avenue. SPIN Magazine called this tour one of the t"Top 25 Tours of the Fall," making me even more excited to see it. Last month Valencia shot their music video for "Dancing With A Ghost" in Minneapolis and it was nice to see them back so quickly! Before Motion City Soundtrack's set the video debut for "A Life Less Ordinary (Need A Little Help)" played, getting the crowed even more excited for Motion City Soundtrack's set. This was a sold out hometown show for Motion City Soundtrack. If this tour hasn't hit your city yet you should definitely check it out!
